Chad Folkening

Co-Founder, CEO

Chad is a successful serial entrepreneur. Born in Indiana, he started his first successful business at age 14, founding Student Services, Inc. (SSI) a home services management company. In 1995 he sold SSI and developed a historical building in downtown Charleston, South Carolina and converted it into a successful art/cafe called Aberrations. After selling the company a year later, Chad began his current venture that focuses on Internet Real Estate (platforms), Technology and Applications. Originally called Web-Based.com in 1996, Global Ventures has evolved into one of the worlds top premium domain asset holding and development companies in the world.

In 2005 he purchased a 26,000 sq. ft estate in Indianapolis, featured on HGTV's Extreme Homes, which he is currently transforming into the first Midwest live/work tech startup incubator. Current Global Ventures investments and companies include Domain Holdings and its leading flagship product DomainPower, eCorp with is patented business model, along with Referrals.com, Mergers.com, MyChallenge and Entrepreneurs.org Chad lives with his family in Florida, California and Indiana and attended Butler University and Ball State University for its renowned Entrepreneurship program.

Eli Rodsky

Community Manager

Eli comes from an extensive commercial real estate background. He held positions with Douglas Emmett & Company and The Charles Dunn Company. He's an expert in commercial buildings with over a decade of experience. In addition he has managed large private portfolios throughout the Southern California area.

For the last two years, Eli has expanded his own domain portfolio and served as community manager for various online assets. Eli holds a major in political science and a minor in business administration from the University of Oregon.

Gregory C. Kim

Advisor

Greg Kim served as Head of Marketing & Corporate Development at Savings.com the leading destination for deals and coupons. Prior to Savings.com, Greg served as SVP, Strategy & Corporate Development at People Media where he built a global leader in niche dating and sold the company to Match.com in July 2009. Prior to People Media, Greg helped build LowerMyBills.com into the leading lead generation platform in home loans, education and insurance. During his tenure, LowerMyBills.com grew from $10 million to $250 million in revenues in three years and the company was sold to Experian. Prior to LowerMyBills.com Greg was an investment banker with Houlihan Lokey. Greg earned his M.B.A. in Entrepreneurial Studies and Finance from The Anderson School at UCLA, and graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics.

Albert Angel

Advisor

Albe has been active in industry policy development, drawing on a notable background as a regulatory attorney and a trade association activist. He has served on numerous boards, often in primary leadership positions. In the billing arena Albe founded and was co-chair of the Billing Reform Task Force, and co-chaired the White House Forum on Billing. Albe is the former chair of the National Association of Interactive Services where he played a role in the development of federal and state laws and regulations concerning interactive services, including the seminal Telephone Disclosure and Dispute Resolution Act (TDDRA).

Albe's distinguished legal career was marked by his early service with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was named to a U.S. Attorney General task force to craft a relief plan in the event of a Bell System break up, and subsequently served as a trial attorney responsible for litigating a major segment of the landmark divestiture case, United States v. AT&T.

Albe is an inventor, the holder of two patents (the certified phone call and the hierarchical authentication system), and has several additional patents pending. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards and acknowledgments, including the coveted Golden Phone Award, which was presented in connection with his development of the FaxTicker. He holds a Master of Law degree from Georgetown University, and earned his Juris Doctor at California Western School of Law, where he was on the Law Review and a member of the Advocacy Honors Board.
